I started using these signs when my baby girl was 10 months old. By her first birthday, she was easily and appropriately communicating "hungry" "book" "bedtime" and by 14 months she had a signing vocabulary of about 20 words. It's great for me and my husband to have a consistent source of signs and ideas on how best to teach/use them. I highly recommend this if you're desperate to communicate with your baby.

This book cannot be read on the Nook app for iPads, which is unfortunate since it came recommended by a friend.
