I just stated beading and with all the books out there to choose from this one really caught my eye. It has fantastic pictures to show you exactly how to do each task and describes them step by step. Its very easy to follow and I keep it right beside me everytime I start a new project!

This book touches on many aspects of beading and jewelry making. I love how there are step by by directions and pictures to go with it. In my opinion this is the best book for beginners.

Like this book. Info, tools, techniques covered well. Probably not for more advanced jewelry makers, unless they need a refresher. Well worth the money. There are projects, but don't purchase thinking you get half a book of them. This is a technique based book. I take one star off because the author touches on wire and chains. I purchased the next book of "more jewelry making..." (same author) to find wire work/chains covered in that. I think it would have fit in better in the first book than the second. The second book is more advanced techniques.
