    Unlike previous efforts to simply but comprehensively assist instructors in creating online or hybrid courses, Teaching Online does an exceptional job.

    The organization of the manual makes it easy to read and follow. It offers practical suggestions, and is thorough in the topics covered. The only problem I encountered was that many of the websites listed are inaccessible.

    Finally, a good book on teaching online

    I have looked through and read countless books on distance education and most of them were a waste of time. Some at least had a chapter or two with some good information. Every chapter in this book is a gem, or should I say a mine of full of gems of information. It is very readable, it covers the essentials, and, most importantly, it is current.
