Overview

Book four in the Hot Ice series.

What I know about hockey could fit on the back of a stamp. So my latest patient may be one of the NHL's hottest defensemen, but I'm not exactly blown away by his stardom. Add in the fact that he's a surly, growling grump, and I'm more than happy to work my magic on his battered body then hot-foot to my date with his teammate, Todd "Pretty" Carty.
Todd is sex on a stick, a slice of man heaven, and I want a bit of the action, preferably of the bedroom variety. But when Raven emerges from his bad mood and throws his energy into blowing my mind with just one kiss, I find my head spinning and my libido raging.
What I didn't bargain on is these hard-training, hard-playing hockey players working as efficiently off the ice as on when it comes to getting results. But who am I to complain when satisfaction is their ultimate goal?

These Vipers Boys get better and better with each book! Injured whilst playing in the UK Raven Starr (yep, that's his real name) ends up being treated by Welsh Physiotherapist Fiona. Offered the chance of a lifetime, by Raven's team mate Todd (drop dead georgous and sexy as hell), to go back to the states to help with Raven's recuperation Fiona doesn't have to think twice. Raven is a grumpy git and doesn't seem to communicate past the odd grunt here and there - but is also worthy of being called Sex on (or with) a stick! Fiona ends up with both guys - can she handle them both? I have to say the ending had me going 'awwwwwww, how sweet'!!

“I received this book as a review copy in return for an honest review” Teamwork is book 4 in the Hot Ice Series by Lily Harlem. I got so excited when I saw the cover that it was going to be a threesome book! Well it was for a little while until two people fell in love. Raven is a stubborn man that doesn’t like to show any emotion. Fiona is a special therapist that ends up helping Raven with all of his injuries. Throw in Todd “Pretty” Carty, Raven’s friend and teammate and you have all the characters you will every need! This was an awesome story line by Lily. She allowed Raven to come out of his shell and fall hard for Fiona. I actually thought they would all end up together but I am glad I was wrong.

Reviewed by: cupcake  Book provided by: Publisher Review originally posted at Romance After Dark, a Romancing the Book site : As you read this one, you might need to make a cold shower your best friend. Welsh physiotherapist is hired by the Orlando Vipers to provide her healing touch after she proves successful with hot, if not somewhat primitive, Raven. Her gig is short-term, but she takes advantage of the opportunity to leave cold rainy London for warm sunny Florida. She also takes advantage of the opportunity to get close to Todd, Raven’s best friend and teammate. And kids, they are teammates on and off the ice. If you know what I mean. The first big sex scene (in a book rather full of sex scenes) comes when Raven and Todd share Fiona. On a kitchen table. Fiona likes what she experiences. So much so that she immediately begins fantasizing about doing it again. Meanwhile, she’s staying in Raven’s home, so those two get a little closer. And by “close,” I mean they have some hot sexy times. Todd joins them when he can, but the couple of the story is Raven and Fiona. What plot there is to this book is negligible. It basically serves as a means of getting from one hot sex scene to the next. And those sex scenes. Oh, people. Those sex scenes are HOT. When we meet Fiona, she seems a little reserved, but once the clothes come off, she is adventurous and curious. Raven is, uh, quite well endowed and wields his manhood as deftly as an ice hockey stick. As for Todd, he knows how to scratch Fiona’s itches. Read this one for the smokin’ hot sexy times. But be warned that you will need something to take the edge off after you finish. Cold showers, Hitachi wands, a man friend. You’ll need it!
