    Hard to follow instructions

    The first two projects tried (book pin and picture frame necklace) were difficult. Never did get the book to work.

    Way too difficult to create!

    I bought this book thinking that my son would enjoy helping me create the "bugagamis" since they looked so intriguing. The paper included in the book is beautiful and appropriate for each insect, however, it was extremely difficult to configure the shapes. In fact, I sat quite determined for over a half an hour just trying to figure out how to get past steps 3 or 4 of the simplest looking ones. I commend anyone who has a knack for doing this sort of thing. If you can figure out the folds, then this book would be very enjoyable and would make a great gift too. Good Luck!

    Great idea, but.....

    Don't be fooled! Jewelgami DOES NOT come with actual baubles, bangles, or beads. All it comes with is the paper needed to create the models. But I will say that the paper it comes with is high-quality and the directions are easy to understand. Even though it doesn't come with everything you need to make origami jewelry, it gives you good craft and origami paper resources where you can find what you want and need to embelish your creations. This product would be better if they actually included the baubles and such, but the things you can make are all cute and worth the low price. After you're done tearing all the gorgeous paper out of the book, you just trim the covers and it becomes a neat little book you can use as a quick reference to the projects! All in all, this is a good book and I definitely recommend it for all ages.
