Victory in the Circles of Seven came at a great cost to Billy Bannister and Bonnie Silver. A vicious evil was unleashed on the earth that only the dragons can defeat. With Billy's father, the great Clefspeare, missing, Billy and Bonnie must lead the dragons into war against the Watchers-demonic beings as old as the earth itself. Masters at the art of deception, the Watchers use the deadliest of weapons against mankind. A remnant of wise humans, the friends of the dragons, unite in the struggle against the Watchers. With heart-stopping action, the final battle between dragons and their enemies comes to a climax. But in order to win the war, at least one of the dragons must die.
As the story ends, Billy and Bonnie are faced with the greatest decision of their lives. Will they keep the dragon traits that have cost them so much danger and heartache, or will they turn to normal human life and end the slayers' lust for their blood forever.

If you liked these books, you will also enjoy the series( who's author escapes me)the first book being titled DragonQuest, all one word. Oracles of Fire is the answer to your questions. It is the prequel/sequel to DIOM.

    Tears of a Dragon

This is a great book! It's very life changing and motivating. A great book about catholic faith. In order for this book to make sense you have to read all four in order. Raising Dragons, The Candlestone, Circles of seven. An AMAZING book.

Just when I thought Bryan Davis couldnâ⿬⿢t possibly have any more ideas left for books out come Tears of a Dragons. Reading other reviews on Dragons in our Midst book youâ⿬⿢ll notice most say the same thing: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PUT THIS BOOK DOWN! And thatâ⿬⿢s because itâ⿬⿢s true! With Tears of a Dragon and all the other book in this series. Make sure you get the whole series at once because once you finish one of the books you wonâ⿬⿢t ant to wait any longer to start the next one!

The end ... or is it?

Tears of a Dragon is a great ending to a captivating series! You'll cry, and laugh, and cry some more. But is it really the end? Are all questions answered? Read it and find out, then move on to Oracles of Fire, to see if you questions are answered.

    Amazing and Dramatic End

He's done it again! Yet 10 times better. The powerful conclusion to Dragons in Our Midst is amazing. The final war against evil has come and the reader is placed right in the middle. If you are thinking at all about getting this...do it.

    A Satisfying End

In the conclusion of the Dragons in our Midst series, a war rages between demons and dragons. In the midst of the battle, Billy and Bonnie must enter an unknown dimension to gain many needed dragon allies. What Billy doesn't know is that this mission may be his last.

    THIS BOOK ROCKS

All right, I really loved this book, it's my favorite in the series! I like Larry's humor but I really just read these books to see what Billy and Bonnie are up to. I remember when Billy died, I was about to cry but when he came back, well, it's hard to describe how happy I was. The ending has me confused because I can't tell weather Bonnie chose to become human or stay the same. Is that answered in any of the other books? Please tell me somehow! I really like the series but I admit I don't want to read Oracles of Fire because Billy and Bonnie aren't in it. This series is great and especially this book. People who aren't reading them are missing out on something great.

    It's over--sniff

After the release of hundreds of Watchers from Hades, the remaining nine dragons prepare for war against overwhelming odds. But when Billy and Bonnie enter Dragon¿s Rest in search of Billy¿s father, tragedy strikes. Even when the battle¿s over, dragons and anthrozils face the toughest choice of their lives. Remain dragons, or become fully human? This ending made me cry. I really enjoyed the whole series and was sad to see it draw to a close. But the adventures continue with Oracles of Fire.
