He who gazes upon the one wearing the Tears of Amun
Shall go on to rule the kingdoms of Egypt.

Charlotte Witherspoon is in love…with a picture.

    3.5 stars

I gave this read 3 stars but it's close to a 3.5 stars read. I really thought it was a sweet kismet, lovers lost and found through out time read. I do enjoy Kismet reads, it always express determination of ones love.

Charlotte is in love with a picture, a picture of the king of Egypt since she was 15. It's silly, but she can't help the way she feels about the man in the picture. While on an archeology dig, she stumbles on box that she thought after reading could be a curse. Within the blink of an eye, she is thrust back two thousand years in time to Ancient Egypt. When she arrives, she's in front of the man that she has been dreaming of since she was 15,Ahmose. The time in which she travels, Ahmose is a prince and not yet king. Ahmose sees Charlotte wearing the Tears of Amun and believes that she is destined to be his.

As I said before a sweet read of time travel love finding each other. Some areas of the story tend to bob and weave a little but it wasn't so bad that I was not able to enjoy the story. Charlotte was willing to leave behind her family for the man who was just an image for her and is now real to her. Ahmose and Charlotte's love was nice to read. It was cute novella. Contains graphic sexs.

    Intimacy: GOOD
    Enjoyment: FAIR

    More sex than story

I love books about ancient Egypt so I had hopes for this one. Unfortunately this is primarily erotica. Slim on plot heavy on sex. The author can write sex scenes but totally missed the chance to write anything worth reading, unless erotica is your thing.
