Technical Rescuer: Water, Levels I and II

Paperback (Print)

Finally, a book that covers all 5 of the sub-disciplines of water rescue - in a single resource! TECHNICAL RESCUER: WATER is based on the NFPA 1006 Technical Rescuer Standards, and covers everything from surface water rescue and ice rescue to swiftwater rescue, surf rescue, and more. Perhaps most importantly, the author recognizes that different agencies have different processes, and incorporates that by discussing all of the various types of equipment and how it can be used. A bonus chapter on watercraft rounds out the book's comprehensive coverage, making this an ideal book for first responders, firefighters, rescue technicians, and anyone seeking in-depth knowledge of water rescue techniques and standards.
