These chapters include methods used for studies of protein-protein interaction, protein-ligand interactions, behavior of proteins at surfaces, in vivo protein modifications, manipulation of sulfur in proteins, methods used in primary structure and tertiary structure determination, folding and stability of proteins, and methods and uses for synthetic peptides. The subject areas used to present the methods are quite illustrative of the usefulness of these methods.
