Teen Time: The Young Years of Rock & Roll, Vol. 3 contains 20 pop tracks recorded for Eric Records in the late '50s and early '60s. This is squeaky-clean teen music of the era, post-Chuck Berry and early Elvis, pre-Beatlemania. Four of the songs were Top Five hits recorded by one-hit wonders Carl Dobkins Jr. "My Heart Is an Open Book", Robin Luke "Susie Darlin'", Dodie Stevens "Pink Shoe Laces", and the Crescendos "Oh Julie".
