New Writer Rides Tall in the Saddle

Newcomer Will Murray rides tall in the saddle in his fiction debut, capturing perfectly the Califorrnia High Desert, home of bandidos and angry weather, and displaying surprising true grit in this tale of a lone lawman on the trail of a couple of killers. Cal MacLamond is an interestingly flawed hero with a sliding scale of ethics; the sort of character that I'd like to see more of.
