Television Producing and Directing

Television Producing and Directing

by Howard J. Blumenthal

Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Library Journal
Blumental provides a detailed and comprehensive look at various aspects of TV producing and directing. He covers the subject from preproduction through field and studio production to postproduction. There is even a section on business affairs, program distribution, and financing. There is also a glossary. Networks, commercials, industrial TV, and even amateur production are covered. With so much material, access could be better, but the book is recommended for academic libraries with sizeable holdings in communications. Put it in reference rather than in the general collection. Joseph E. O'Connor, M.L.S., Beaufort, S.C.
