    Now This is Versatility!!!

Having already purchased Michael Amante's first opera CD, and finding it wonderful, I bought this, his second album of American and Italian popular love songs. I found it showed beyond any doubt the great versatility this wonderful tenor has. Who else can sing so beautifully and with incredible range songs like "Be My Love" and "Core n'grato, and then also display the power, passion and verve needed for pop songs like "Delilah" and "Young Girl" on this CD? Next, he's melting our hearts with more warmly but softly sung oldies like, "Crying". I found them all sung better than the originals, but THOSE singers never had the voice to sing opera the way Michael Amante does!! He has the ability to jump from one genre of music to the next with such finesse, and these 14 tracks will prove that to you, once you hear them. I can't wait to hear his next album of Christmas and Spirital songs!
