School Library JournalGr 5-7 This collection of questions and answers covers a wide range of subjects. The questions are divided into six chapters which incorporate such things as the world, the human body, human reproduction, how things are made, and animals. There seems to be no logical relationship among questions. For example, the chapter called ``Our World'' includes answers to such questions as: ``What is the difference between toadstools and mushrooms?'' ``What is olive oil?'' and ``What is inflation?'' The strongest chapter deals with animals; the weakest with human reproduction. (That chapter starts with questions and answers dealing with love and family relationship and then goes into information about babies. There is no discussion of sex.) The answers are, on the whole, concise and informative. The book is illustrated with a few line drawings and diagrams. While the subtitle implies that the book has a potential use as a reference source, it is likely to have appeal only for browsing by devotees of odd facts.
