They know the score, they know they're not the only one, and each of them provide her with a different physical need that she craves and enjoys.

Until a late night encounter with the delicious Daniel Winters turns her preconceived notion of no-commitment completely on its head.

Soon she finds herself feeling things she vowed never to feel again, and when Daniel pushes for more than she's willing to give, she falters.

But is Daniel the type of man who takes no for an answer?

From the Publisher
"What do you get when you mix Sex and the City, Superman, and a hot x rated movie? You get an amazing sexy read filled with different guys to satisfy all of your needs and then some! What else do you need? As if the hot guys weren't enough, this book was full of angst, comedy and self-discovery. Plus it has a strong lead female, which is rare to find in books!" —Morning After A Good Book

HOLY COW! WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD OF THIS BOOK UNTIL NOW!!! This was great, loved this story! Funny, well written, likeable characters, (especially Daniel) and steamy sex scenes. It's worth repeating, I LOVED this story! This is a stand alone book but, also a series, so more will be written about the characters in future books. Next one comes out in Dec. 2013. I highly recommend this book! S.A.K

I loved watching Mac grow up and mature in this book. And the fact that Daniel took so much of her crap while waiting for her to get over her commitment issues made me love him too. Plenty of hot sex scenes and a little bit of wanting to reach in the book and strangle Mac a little, but an excellent book regardless.

I could not put this book down. There is heartbreak, happiness, sadness, love, silly banter, HOT sex, HOT guys and the BEST friendship ever between two gals. I caught myself smiling and laughing out loud more often than not. I love Mac, Daniel, Noah, Kate, Sean & Zander. I am ready for book two!!

I read the first 4 chapters of this book and then gave up. The author is all over place, doesn't build up the characters and the story line simply doesn't flow.

I am not sure what I just finished reading. I was warned that it was full of hot sex... Although there is a lot of sexual talk, the sex scenes are banal. They are like raisins in an oatmeal cookie. Rxpected but eh! The love story was the saving grace. I found the love story to be very different and it kept me reading. This is not a cliffhanger but the story has chapters missing...

I received an Arc Copy of Temporary Bliss Makenna Lewis is broken, has split with boyfriend Beau and heads back to the city of Chicago to her best friend Kate. Four years on Makenna or Mac has one rule no commitment. This is why she has 3 friends with benefits Zander, Sean and Noah. Each gives her something different and knows her rules. Until she meets Daniel Winters who turns her world upside down. Ok you know I don't do spoilers. And this one is no different. I am frightened to say too much in case I give too much away. This book had me at the synopsis and Book Trailer. I couldn't wait to read it. I wasn't disappointed. The only thing I am going to say/warn about with this book is this: 1 - Find a room with a lock. 2 - Go inside said room lock the door and put a Do Not Disturb sign on door. 3 - Be prepared to forego normal life as you know it till its read. I LOVED this book. I loved everything about it. This is the kind of book that pulls you in and tugs on your emotions. I wanted to cry, scream and shout at times. I was 34% in and needed to find a room or cave to hide away till I came out-I was beginning to sound like a growly bear. Everything about this book is right. there wasn't one bit of this book that was wrong. I loved Makenna. I could relate to her in so many ways. I loved her best friend Kate with her no nonsense attitude. But I love most of all Daniel Winters - Ladies we have a new book boyfriend in the building in the form of Daniel Winters. This review may seem cryptic but once you read it you will know why. I Literally cant say too much with out giving anything away. If you don't buy this book you are missing out BIG time. This book gets 5/5 stars and 5/5 for movie moments.

Started out interesting, with "the incident", then panned out to free love and a whiney heroine, who did not know her own mind. Mac has a best friend to talk with about anything, and Mac's parents are introduced at the end of the story. What?? Professional intervention was needed from the beginning. Dan was ok, but he could have been a tad more alpha.

This book was so fake. The main character was a fake, slutty nurse whom didn't believe in cheating, but was sleeping with 3 different men on a regular basis. Yet she didn't consider herself a slut or a cheater. Um really? Not my cup of tea. Don't know why it got so many good reviews. It was stupid. And no, it is not ok to hop from man to man. That's why there's so many STD's out there. Gross!!!!

Wow! OK... it all started when Mac- short for Mackenna - dropped her cellphone while riding the Chicago L after work and during rush hour. Hottie Daniel - being a gentleman and interested in Mac's looks - used this excuse as the perfect opening to return the phone and chat with her. It never occurred to me to reel in a hottie this way... drop your phone at his feet and just reel him in! I must try this sometime soon, after all, I live in Chicago! After phone exchanges, flirty banter, and a lot of hot looks, these two characters are unstoppable. Only one problem... Mac does not want a relationship and she already has three additional friends with benefits she is dealing with. (I want to know what kind of vitamins that girl takes! Woof!) This is an absolutely thrilling story of a man's pursuit for what he wants and a reluctant female who hates to get caught but cannot help falling in love.

Mac is a woman broken by a previous relationship gone wrong. Years later she's no longer interested in love. She juggles men on her own terms without any strings. Thats until she meets a man who can look beyond her fears and love her. Broken and all. I really enjoyed this book. It had a rough start but worth the read. I like women who aren't perfect but are allowed to have love anyway.

This book is pretty much worth all the hype. There are sexier books out there, but this one is a lot stronger on the character end. It's kind of like how someone who is pretty good at sex is awesome if you like them as a person. This won't be the last book I read from this author.

I have to say that I had a great time reading this book. The writing is great, it's sexy, hot, angsty and hilarious. There's no dull moments in this book. I love the banter between Kate and Mac. I cannot wait to find out what happens in True Bliss, second book in this series :) Favorite quotes: "Walking away from this life, I make a vow to myself; never again will my life be dictated by a man, and never again will I let love lead me astray." “You’re my forever girl … You always have been, and if I have my way, you always will be.”
