Overview

TEMPT (a Take It Off novel)
***This is a new adult contemporary novel and contains sexual content and graphic language. It is not intended for young adult readers.***

Stranded and alone with not one, but two wickedly enticing men.
Ava arrives at the airport, expecting to board a commercial flight to Puerto Rico. But a plane ticket isn't waiting for her. Instead, she finds a guy with dark curly hair wearing seriously ratty jeans and holding a sign with her name on it.
He may not look like a pilot, but he is. And he's her ride.
So now it's just Nash and her on a tiny tin can of a plane flying over the Atlantic. When a thunderstorm comes out of nowhere, it proves to be too much for the little aircraft.
Ava and Nash plunge from the sky and end up on an uncharted deserted island.
Stranded.
As if that isn't bad enough, Ava starts to desire more than just rescue-hunger for more than food. Nash is only too happy to oblige... but it seems they might not be as alone as they thought.
And Nash might have some competition in claiming Ava's body... and her heart.

4.75 Stars Kate Hudson look-alike Ava Malone has no guy and no job and thus she’s been elected by her family to be the one to honor her late grandmother’s dying wish to have her ashes sprinkled over the ocean.  Tan, tall, sea green eyes, thick unruly hair, and ripped jeans that “hold in everything that’s important” Nash Prescott has been elected by his family to fly Ava from Miami to Puerto Rico.  Nash flies a not-so-stellar private jet, but because their grandmothers were dear friends, Ava reluctantly agrees.  It looks like it’s going to fall out of the sky, and unfortunately (or is it fortunately) for them it does. A storm causes them to crash land on an island where things get a little…Lost.  Enter Duke, a mysterious man also stranded on the island. Now Ava has two horny men to temp her.  Meanwhile, sound of drums in the night, warnings of ‘don’t go on the other side of the island,’ gunshots, and erotic dreams plague Ava. Should she be afraid for her life or of the men in it?  There are plenty of mysterious happening and unknown intentions to keep the pages turning.  How will they be rescued? What or who exactly is on the other side of the island? Is Duke really who he says he is?  Are Ava and Nash just experiencing traumatic bonding or could their feeling for each other survive if and when they are rescued?  Right off the bat, Ava and Nash have cute banter and a growing attraction for each other. Nash becomes a little bit of a hero and a little bit of a protector. It’s hard not to find him swoon-worthy. And who doesn’t love sex on the beach? The story is told from Ava’s point of view. There is an HEA. And while part of a series, this is a stand alone book.

My Review 4.8 Star Review – Tempt (Take It Off #3) I recommend this book. I enjoyed this book by Cambria. This book includes passion, laughs, heartache, pain, suspense, and betrayal. Ava & Nash are stranded after the plane goes down. After forming a bond with the pilot they are exploring when they come across another man. As they spend time together each day they wonder about the other person on the island and his intentions toward Ava. Nash is a strong willed man and will protect and take care of Ava if she needs him to or not. Is the other person on the island a friend or foe? Will they figure it out before danger comes open them? Will they get rescued off the island?

Loved it!!! I couldn't get enough of Nash and even had some feelers for Duke before he blindsided me! I love Cambria Hebert's books and will read each of them in this series!

Love this series and so far this is my favorite. Love that these are unrelated and can be read in any order. So good I wish she would quit wasting time on anything else and just focus on writing adult romance! Can't gat enough.

This book starts out being similar to others in the genre. Following similar patterns. Cambria Hebert develops a really strong connection between her main characters, that is felt right from the start. After the plane crash, you add Duke to the mix. She has a way of implying a love triangle. But is it real or imagined? Read 'Tempt' to find out for yourself. "Two entities intertwined forever, destined to never share the sky at the same time, but never able to hate each other for it. Instead, they die for one another over and over again." Amazing! A plane crash, a band of pirates, and lots of sexual tension! What more could you ask for?? "This was no time to be having make-out thoughts about Nash. We were experiencing an emergency here. We needed a plan. We needed action. We needed coffee."
