After reading Possess Me (Bk. 1) and meeting Bone Daddy, I knew I just had to have more of him; his decadent world of New Orleans, and voodoo. This time 'round we get to know a little more about the other Toussaint twin, Gabriel. Gabriel is a very moody, tormented, and confused man. He has been kept away from his family since childhood--being told that they were evil--but now he is back and not alone. Gabriel has returned home at the request of a nosy bothersome ghost/guardian, Emmanuel (Manny). Gabe doesn't want to be back, especially when he meets Angelique, his sister's young friend. The pull between them is so intense neither can fight it even if they truly wanted to. Angelique, the baby of the family, is thought to be the sweet innocent one and is always protected; little do they know that Angelique has a wild side to her and she has decided to let Gabriel see just how wild and free she can be by saying yes to one night of "Just Sex" sex (WOW- what a night!). Manny tries to keep Gabe focused on why he has been brought back to New Orleans and his family. Gabriel has a gift just like his twin sister but, if he doesn't focus and pay attention, it could have dire circumstances for all of them. I truly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it! RG Alexander has a terrific writing style that grabs you and draws you in from the first few words and won't let you go until the very end - but then you will still want more of Bone Daddy and his friends. While I love me some Bone Daddy...(I mean how can't you) I think that Tempt Me has really piqued my interest in Emanuel and I sure hope we get more from the Big Easy soon, 'cause it sure isn't easy waiting for it.

Gabriel is a bad, bad boy, and Angelique has every inch of him wrapped around her little finger. The men in this series could make any woman melt, but Gabe has that edginess that draws you in like a magnet. I loved the first book in this series, and sincerely hope that this is not the last. Angelique and Gabe are spectacular, and I would love to see another story with the very sexy and “spirited” Emmanuel. Lototy Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance & More

If you read R.G. Alexander's first book Possess Me then you absolutely must read Tempt Me. Gabriel was introduced in the first book. He had your typical bad boy image. In Tempt Me we discover more of Gabriel's haunted past. He comes back to New Orleans to reconnect with his mother and sister. However, he has many secrets to hide. Gabriel thinks he is going crazy when an angel appears before him and no one else can see him. Gabe continues a relationship with Manny who tells him he was sent to help Gabriel learn how to use his powers. Angelique has always been the baby in her family. She's always had her family hovering over her to protect her. However, Angelique has a wild side that her family is not aware of. She feels instantly attracted to Gabriel and his bad boy image. She knows her family wouldn't approve of a relationship between her and Gabe. But she cannot resist temptation. Angelique and Gabriel share a night of scorching sex meant to be "just sex", but it brings out emotions in both of them. Gabe is afraid of hurting Angelique, and Angelique is afraid Gabe will never reveal his secrets and trust her enough to accept her love. R.G. Alexander takes us back to New Orleans and the city of voodoo and magic with this story. We get to revisit old friends and of course Bone Daddy makes another appearance in his human form. He's every bit as hot in human form as Loa form. The second book leaves me waiting breathlessly for the next story in this series of voodoo, magic and charm of New Orleans. I hope that Ms. Alexander continues this series for many books to come.

Tempt Me is R.G. Alexander's most excellent follow up to Possess Me. Unlike the first book, this is one story, Gabriel's story, and it is a dark and delicious treat. In this, we see the darkness surrounding Gabriel, and we also revisit the friends from the first book. Even Emmanuel, the child of the first book, returns, although now he is an adult, no longer the nine year old spirit of before. I loved seeing Bone Daddy again, although in his new human state. Gabe doesn't understand the instant attraction between himself and Angelique, his sister's friend, and tries to fight it. He is terrified that he is going insane, thinking that Emmanuel isn't real. The passion between Gabe and Angelique is scorching, each scene hotter than the one before. Ms. Alexander shows the reader the shadows following Gabe, and as the plot unfolds, we see that there are old evils at works here. I loved the interaction between the characters, and all the women in this have such marvelous personalities and strength of character. This story grabbed me and drew me right into the action, and didn't let me go until the very last page. There is laughter, passion, danger and a few tears here, but Gabe and Angelique are perfect together. I hope to read more in this world, and hope it will be soon.

I really enjoyed reading Possess Me and was excited to hear that R. G. Alexander was releasing a sequel. I was immediately drawn into the rich world of voodoo and Loa spirits in New Orleans. I was intrigued by Gabriel in the first book and loved the chance to learn more about him and what makes him tick. This book certainly details all of that! I read a lot of books with erotica in them but there was something about this one that spoke to me. The scenes between Gabriel and Angelique were intense. I would recommend reading this book for sure. I hope to see more of Emmanuel and his story in a future Bone Daddy book.

His pain in the butt conscience Emmanuel that his brain conjured up has sent Gabriel Toussaint Giodarno, a businessman known as The Dark Messenger, home to New Orleans to reconcile with his mom and his twin sister Michelle. He wishes his torturous companion would leave, but even alcohol in shadowy dives cannot rid him of his plight. Gabriel is stunned by his attraction to his sibling's best friend Angelique Rousseau; she reciprocates his desire. However, he fears that if Emmanuel does not exist than he is insane and if he does he has no idea what the spirit wants from him. He only knows he cannot allow Angelique to be harmed from his imagination or from the voodoo that seems to engulf them. The sibling sequel to Possess Me is a delightful heated romantic urban fantasy. The story line starts slow introducing the key players and their respective plights, but once the intros are done, the plot accelerates into a fast-paced thriller. Readers will enjoy the romance between the grumpy twin and the BFF as he learns "Heaven must be missin' an angel" (Tavares) because she is here with him. Harriet Klausner
