    Cute story

This was just a cute story. There was little plot to it and when it was revealed it was one 2 pages long. The charaters were good. Like I said, it was "cute".

The one thing that I can say about this story, if you¿re lookin

The one thing that I can say about this story, if you’re looking for a quick smutty filled read, then you will certainly enjoy this story. While it is on the short side of stories, there was still enough time for there to be a decent amount of character descriptions, information, and overall details of the story to happen.
The story was a very easy read, it was quick to bring me into the story, but when I finished it, I still felt a little confused about what had happened and why it happened. Don’t get me wrong, I did still enjoy the story; however I suppose I was hoping for more of it to stay with me afterwards.
I would completely recommend this to anyone who is just looking for a quick read, yet still enjoyable story.

This contemporary novella is quick erotically charged HEA romanc

This contemporary novella is quick erotically charged HEA romance.  From different worlds, Scott keeps his attraction for his next door neighbor to himself, until she provides an unexpected alibi when the sheriff accuses him of a crime.  Determined to find out why, he puts himself danger of losing something he never considered…his heart.
This fast paced and smooth flowing plot stimulates the senses and emotions of the reader with a lot of red hot passion and romance.  The author describes the scenes with well written details that capture the imagination and uses strong compelling characters to draw the reader deeper into the story.
The attraction between Scott and Michaela flares hot even from a distance and when they finally give it explodes in frequent searing sex that scorches the reader with a fiery inferno of passion and I must say the final sex scene…OMG!... I’ll never look at cars the same way again.
The danger from the sheriff and his nephew adds some spice to the story but really I don’t think it could get any hotter for this couple.  I enjoyed this entertaining and steamy quickie all though I do wish it had been longer, but that is a given…I never want good stories to end.

I¿ve been having some good luck with novella length stories late

I’ve been having some good luck with novella length stories lately and Tempting Alibi is no different.  The characters are engaging and their story is captivating.  It’s touching and sweet and then it gets oh-so-spicy.  And when I hit the end, I didn’t have any regrets … except that it was over.

This book was an easy fun read. It was the story of the good gir

This book was an easy fun read. It was the story of the good girl in town that everybody loves and protects and the bad boy that lives next door. The thing that nobody knows it that Michaela has huge crush on Scott.  Everybody seems to be judging Scott even though he is running a legitement car repair business.

When the Michaela brings her car in for some car repairs. At the same time the sheriff shows up at Scotts door accusing him of breaking in at a another local car repair shop owned by a family member of the sheriff.  The problem is that Scott doesn’t have an alibi for the time of break ins. That is until Michaela says that she was with him and becomes his albai.

In appreciation for her good deeds he shows up at her door with flowers and a bottle of wine but the problem is both Scott and Michaela are having a hard time talking to each other because they are shy and ackward around each other.  That is until Scott makes the move and kisses her and it moves on from there and wow do they move fast and steamy.

This was a quick read with lots of romance and good heart.  I love that Michaela was standing up for a good man.  It was kind of a heart-warming story.

Highly recommend for reader of Ellora's Cave- It wont disappoint.

    Hot Read

What do you when the hunky guy next door is being harassed by the town sheriff? You take the opportunity to get real neighborly of course!

That's exactly what Michaela Miller did for ex-Marine and local body shop owner, Scott O'Callaghan. A comment that was meant to simply put the rude behaving sheriff in his place opens the door for Michaela and Scott to get to know one another better and, BOY HOWDY, do they take advantage of it!!

Ms. Stuart has penned a terrific little novella that is full of heart and heat. Sometimes you read a book and it just makes you smile when the hero and heroine are so right for each other and the chemistry just clicks. One of the elements that immediately caught my attention was the easy dialogue. The conversations sounded real. Often times an author gets too grammatically correct and the dialogue comes off stiff and forced. Ms. Stuart's writing style is smooth and genuine.

You get a small glimpse at the family that Michaela was brought up in and can see how the strength of that family bond has made her very independent and self-assured. Those personality traits come through pretty clear when she confronts the sheriff and when she lets Scott know without a doubt that she is interested in more than just friendship.

Likewise, Scott wasn't brought up with quite the same strong family unit that Michaela experienced. He is slow to trust and is completely caught off guard when she stands up for him to the sheriff. He does have a bit of an alpha streak when it comes to Michaela and doesn't hesitate to take control when they finally give in to the mutual attraction.

For such a short story, Ms. Stuart packs in some steamy as well as heart-warming scenes. If you are looking for a quick little diversion you should seriously consider picking up a copy of Tempting Alibi. This was my first introduction to Ms. Stuart's work but it certainly won't be my last.
