Overview

Entertainment reporter Faith Wheeler knows a secret that can make her name in Hollywood. Unfortunately, that same secret could break megastar Zander Baron.

Hollywood's newest and fastest rising action star, Zander is what every man wants to be--and who every woman wants. Handsome, intelligent, compassionate and charming, Zander possesses an air of mystery that makes him all the more intriguing. No one knows his true origins or even his real name.

Except Faith.

Faith knows everything about the man called Zander Baron, for he opened his heart to her one magical and tragic night when they were both still youngsters in the tiny mining town of Booger Hollow, West Virginia. Faith knows what Zander is, and, more importantly, she knows who he is.

Confronted by her plan to expose him, Zander employs every weapon in his considerable arsenal to win her silence. He uses his brains, his looks, his charm and his sophistication to convince her to keep his secret. But when disaster again strikes Booger Hollow, Zander discovers that the truth -- that he can't live without her -- is the key to keeping Faith.

    A page-turner of epic proportions

It took me literally 9 hours to read the whole story. I NEVER read books all the way through in one sitting but this one captured me so completely, I just couldn't put it down until I was finished. Even sitting in my cubicle at the office didn't stop my need to read. I kept looking for excuses to read or take a "break" and catch up on Faith and Alex/Zander, even though hadn't been but 5 minutes ago I put the book down. These two sizzle and Crystal created a world I found myself utterly lost in and characters with depth and emotion. I felt the connection between these two and the pain Faith feels, being abandoned by Alex, the love of her life. I'd forgotten how much I love Crystal Hubbard from reading "Crush" a few years ago. I would definitely recommend Ms. Hubbard's stories. I'm headed to the book store after work and snatching up every one of her books I can find.

    Faith, Hope & Love

Once again Crystal Hubbard weaves another INTRIGUING tale with a MEMORABLE cast of characters and her signature brand of witty dialogue throughout. I enjoyed Faith, she's a strong, independent and honest woman. I love the way Faith sees the real Alex Brannon with ALL his "scars" and still readily accepts him and loves him regardless of what the small minds of Booger Hollow have to say about him. The innocent attraction between Alex and Faith as teens is HEARTWARMING. And when they FINALLY reunite the passion between them is SIZZLIN'. My heart went out to Alex, with all the INTENSE physical and emotional abuse he endured as a youth and then having to make the ULTIMATE sacrifice and leave behind the ONLY person that ever showed him unconditional love. BUT will Faith's love be enough to pull Alex/Zander from the shadows of his painful past?!! Or will he let the "demons" of Booger Hollow destroy his second chance for a HAPPILY-EVER-AFTER?!! Mrs. Hubbard delivers another engaging and TEMPTING treat.
