Overview

She ran from him once…

Wild one night stands are not Ella Hayes’s style, but with her confidence at rock bottom after a devastating betrayal and her painful departure from her jaguar pride, who could blame her for falling into bed with a sexy wolf? She never thought she’d see him again. And never in her craziest dreams did she expect to come face-to-face with him on her first day with the Kincaid wolf pack. Sleeping with Asher had been one of the most intense experiences of her life—but now she wonders if they could have more.

He’s not letting her go again…

Tired of life as a lone wolf, shifter Asher has joined his cousin’s pack. The last person he expected to see was the sexy woman who ran out on him in the middle of the most incredible night of his life. The Ella he meets now is nothing like the wild, sensual woman he let his guard down with, but he likes both sides of the complicated female. But now somebody—or something—sinister is targeting Ella, and Asher moves quickly to get her under his roof and under his protection. Keeping the sexy female safe and proving they belong together are two missions he doesn’t plan to fail. Because this time, he’s playing for keeps.

Tempting His Mate was another fun, fast paced and sexy read penn

Tempting His Mate was another fun, fast paced and sexy read penned by Savannah Stuart aka Katie Reus. Although this is the third in the Cresent Moon series, it can very well be a stand alone.

This story moved along quickly without dragging which I appreciated; the story was filled with plenty of sexual tension between Ella and Asher. I enjoyed the progression of their relationship. Bits of suspense were thrown in and there was light drama. Everything resolved easily in the end and of course the H/h got their happy ever after which is always a good thing.

Overall, Tempting His Mate was a nice and quick paranormal romance. If you enjoy Katie Reus’ books, then you’re guaranteed to love Savannah Stuart as well.

*I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Tempting His Mate is a HOT and thrilling shifter romance by Sava

Tempting His Mate is a HOT and thrilling shifter romance by Savannah Stuart (aka Katie Reus)
Tempting His Mate is the third book in the Crescent Moon paranormal romance series by Katie Reus, writing as Savannah Stuart. I hadn't read this series, so was delighted for the excuse to do so when the publisher shared a copy of Tempting His Mate with me for review. Let me say this is one HOT werewolf / shifter romance series that I think you'll enjoy.
Each book in the series - Taming the Alpha (book 1), Claiming His Mate (book 2), and Tempting His Mate (book 3) - is novella length (under 90 pages), so the series as a whole is a fairly quick read. But that's not to say that you won't be engrossed for several hours in this world of southern werewolves that Stuart (i.e. Reus) has created.
It's a very, very sexy series and Tempting His Mate is no exception. Ella, a jaguar shifter cousin to Lauren from book two, is on her way to her cousin's new wolf pack to take over accounting duties for the alpha. She's running from her jaguar pride as her ex- mated and married her younger sister. Totally out of character at a seedy shifter bar she hooks up with and has a one night were-stand with the very sexy and lone wolf shifter, Asher.
In this were-world cross-species matings don't really occur (with Lauren and Max an obvious exception), so Ella puts the hot and steamy encounter out of her mind and continues to Gulf Shores, Alabama to start her new life. Of course one of the first shifters she encounters is Max's cousin, Asher. (Yes, that Asher.) Who has taken the job of head of security at the same hotel where she'll be in charge of finances.
They both try to back pedal on their attraction, but you know there's something there. In addition to the hot, steamy romance, Stuart adds in mysterious break-ins and threats to Ella that weave throughout the story.
Each of these three books in the series are serious page-turners and definitely hold the reader's interest. Whether Reus is writing as Savannah Stuart or under her own name, she's definitely an author to keep on your bookshelf. So I definitely recommend both Tempting His Mate (which can be read as a stand-alone, but it won't be as much fun) as well as the entire Crescent Moon series. If you enjoy HOT shifter romances with a strong undercurrent of suspense, you'll LOVE this series too.

I received an eARC from the publisher through NetGalley for use in this review.

    Passably Entertaining Paranormal Romance

The third in Stuart's shifter romance series, "Tempting His Mate" is the least involved and developed of the three. Asher was an interesting character with a complicated background, but Ella was a bit of a cipher. A bit more foreshadowing as to the source of the threat against Ella would have strengthened that part of the story.

Overall, lightweight, but entertaining. -- lyradora

    Warriors Mates part seven

(Great idea! I'm going to do a kit and his father, the deputy of Mateclan. [0.O] Then Thornkit and Frostkit..... well, you'll see)<p> Brindlekit sighed and watched her father, Stormtail, pad away to Dawnstar's den. She was watching his a** go back and forth, back and forth. She always got we<_>t at the sight. "Wow...he's.....dazzling." she murmered to herself. She had been in love with the deputy ever since she knew what love was and what it meant. <p> Brindlekit sighed and paded to the nursery. Inside, her denmates, Thornkit and Frostkit, were mateing in their secret den.(Frostkit had tryed to ra<_>pe her in there once. She didn't succed though.) "They have eachother. But who do i have?" Brindlekit muttered. She was an only child, and her mother had "suddenly" vanished. (Brindlekit knew that she had gone off with some hor<_>ny kittypet, but decided not to say anything to Dawnstar about it.) Yep. This was her life: Desire and Dispare.<p> She lifted her head as Stormtail paded inside. "Brindlekit, come...with me." She nodded and paded out towards the forest beside him. 'Why does he look so nervous?' Brindlekit wondered to herself. <p> As they neared a tall willow tree, Stormtail stopped and rested his fluffy grey tail on her shoulders. "As you know, Thornkit and Frostkit are mateing." <p>'Du<_>h,' she thought.<p> "So i have decided to teach you to mate, my daughter."<p> Brindlekit stared at him. "Can we start now?" The question just slipped out of her. Stormtail stared at her. "Of course. Now, lie on your back." Brindlekit did as she was told, and Stormtail moun<_>ted on her. He slid his di<_>ck into her puzzy, and Brindlekit moaned loudly, digging her claws into the ground. It hurt, but it felt so good! Stormtail continued to slide it in untill there was nothing else to put in. Then he waited a while to get her used to the feeling before hu<_>mping her, slow and hard. "Aren't you glad you're 6 moons Brindlekit?"<p> (will continue this in part eight. I'm at 19 characters now)
