OMG with a capital G!!!!!! This book was AWESOME!!!! I am a big fan of Jennifer Armentrout, so when I saw this book published under her pen name J. Lynn, which she uses for her adult series, I HAD to have it. I usually stick to YA books, but if you've read anything by Jennifer, you know everything she writes is awesome!! Needless to say, I was blown away. I don't want to give to much away, but as you can see from the description, this is a contemporary romance centered around Madison and Chase, who have known each other all their lives, while at Madison's brother's wedding. Madison's brother also happens to be Chase's best friend. After avoiding their feelings for each other for years, they are forced to come face to face with them over the course of the wedding festivities and a mix-up in the room reservations. This story is fun, entertaining, fast paced, and hot, Hot, HOT!!!! Chase is one of those guys you would classify as sex on a stick, which Jennifer is so good and writing about, and the chemistry between Chase and Madison is absolutley off the charts. Though a YA fan, I thoroughly enjoyed this "grown-up" story and would highly recommend it. True to form, J. Lynn (Jennifer Armentrout) will leave you amazed (and fanning your face a bit) with her writing.

Even though J. Lynn is her alter ego, there is absolutely no difference in her uncanny ability to make me fall in love with her stories. Tempting The Best Man was exactly the book I needed lately. It had me laughing, eyes widening, stomach sinking, and sighing with ultimate joy. Each character is so perfectly rounded. In their charisma, their comedy, their hardheadedness, in their kind hearts. Qualities that make me fall in love with a character. Qualities that both Chase and Maddie possess. It's one of those loves that everyone around sees but the two who actually feel it. The type of love that could be forever or could always be the what if. I just completely fell in love with the intenseness, angst, and love of Chase and Maddie's story. Plus, we all know Jennifer knows how to write a straight up sexy fella. It's not just them though. Each family member, no matter how big or small the role, had their way of making you love them and enjoy them in the scenes they're in. And Bridget... Oh she's just hilarious. "Wow. I need popcorn for this." Just brilliant characters. Jennifer's books always give me everything I want. Love, laughs, sexiness, heart-break, family, and everything in between. With this being adult and not YA, I got even more of that sexiness I love between characters. And drinking... drinking is always fun too. I could sit here and praise Tempting The Best Man for paragraphs. But there's no need. All you need to know is that it is yet another amazing story from Jennifer and that you won't regret buying it.

Good book. Really likeable characters. Has humor and steaminess. The only problem that I have with this book is that it is too short.

After reading several reviews and seeing repetitive words like sweet, romantic, humourous, hot etc., I decided this book was worth the read but man was I wrong. My complaint isn't even the hot scenes, those were great if a bit frustrating in the beginning but great nonetheless. My problem with the book is Maddie's character because wow is this chick a pushover. Readers just focused on the fact she was in love with Chase since she was a kid but they don't say how pathetic she is when she's around him. I mean what woman acts like she does? Grow a backbone my dear and stop acting like this man walks on water just because the color of his eyes are amazing. He treated you like nothing so move on or give him a dose of his own medicine, make him work for it, let him know that you are worth fighting for! I'm not even done reading this book and I already know that all he's going to do is apologize and she is going to roll over and forgive him...what a doormat...have some pride querida! The writing was good and the storyline has potential if this author didn't create Maddie's character to be such an airhead and Chase's character to be such a douche, it didn't warrant more than two stars which is sad because the sex scenes are probably the only good parts in this book...hope the next book has a female character with 'balls'....so to speak...I am going to give this author one more chance and hope I am not disappointed because her writing style is good....we'll see! I read this book in a few hours, wish it had been longer, but I still really enjoyed it!

Hard to read a book where the male gets away with so much and she is such a pushover. He should have had to work harder for her forgiveness. Too many romance books have the woman drooling all over the man while he tries to escape. Why don't more authors write about men who can't resist the woman almost from the beginning such as the Fifty Shades trilogy and a very few other books.

Tempting the Best Man by J. Lynn is a book I didn’t want to end! Synopsis: Madison Daniels has worshipped her brother's best friend since they were kids. Everyone thinks she and Chase Gamble would make the perfect couple, but there are two major flaws in their logic. 1) Chase has sworn off relationships of any kind, and 2) after blurring the line between friends and lovers for one night four years ago, they can't stop bickering. Forced together for her brother's wedding getaway, Chase and Madison decide to call a truce for the happy couple. Except all bets are off when they're forced to shack up in a tacky 70’s honeymoon suite and survive a multitude of "accidents" as the family tries to prove their "spark" can be used than for more than fighting. That is, if they don't strangle each other first… Review: I loved, loved, loved this book. I found myself skipping dinner and sleep just to get through it. It wasn’t a long read, but it was so worth every moment! The flow of the story was amazing and switching from scene to scene was flawless. Ms. Lynn captured both sides of the story and managed to do it with such class while still maintaining a very sexual chemistry that couldn’t be ignored. Her scenes capture the surroundings and the feelings of each character with such grace that it left me stunned and made me yearn to learn more. I would whole heartily recommend this book to ANYONE just simply because it is a great read. Five out of five stars!

As with all the books in the Brazen line - this was excellent. If you like the Alpha male and super hot sex - this is for you! I adore this line and every single title is an auto-buy for me!

A good short read. Only 141 pages but actually a little closer to 110 pages of actual book text. I liked the storyline. The Characters are likeable. Starting the next book now.

## Both this book and it's sequel were frustrating. Why must every hero be a man-slut? It is in no way, shape or form sexy. It's totally off-putting. And in this book the hero leads the heroine on, then leaves her. 3 times! It's like ground hog day. Then she takes him back without question. And the ending was so abrupt, it left a lot to be desired. They never even spoke of the 'misunderstanding' at the hotel. Ugh. I bought book 1&2 at the same time unfortunately. I will not be buying Chandler's story.

Could of had a better ending, and she could of had a little more backbone.

Seemed pretty predictable. Short. Not a lot of substance. Characters were interesting though.

Great tension between the characters. Hot steamy scenes are great. Female lead is a little pathetic at times. Very short read but good romance.

Just as my title says this is a good book for a girl in her early mid 20s. I love the connection Chase and Madison have. The fact the author made Chase look like a butt on more than one occasion was nice because it told me that men over think everything and always manage to stick their foot in their mouths. Behind every sexy man stands a woman who sees him as something more than eye candy!
