Meet the Author

Enrique Norten studied architecture at Cornell University and Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. From 1980 to 1990 he was professor of architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana, and he has been a visiting professor at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Cornell University, Columbia University, Rice, and the Southern California Institute of Architecture, as well as at universities in Mexico.

Bernardo Gómez-Pimienta studied architecture at Columbia University and Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City. He has been a visiting professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the Southern California Institute of Architecture, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, Universidad Anahuac, and Universidad Iberoamericana.
