This is the follow up book to WHAT HAPPENS IN LONDON and I adored it! It kept me in fits of giggles because Sebastian is such an awesome hero. He's not your typical tortured hero but a hero that you're going to grow to love because he's so great! I enjoyed this book immensely and this book is JQ at her best. Such a fun book! You won't be disappointed!

I love a book that can make me laugh with the characters and not at them, this is one such book. It is wonderful from the first page to the last!! The story in engaging, the characters are lovable, and the writing is fabulous. I've read quite a few of Ms. Quinn's books and this is by far my favorite...so far. I plan to read them all and keep reading them as she writes them!!!!

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. The romantic conflict made sense. The lovely Annabell is being courted by Sebastian's much older, titled, and jaded Uncle. Except for Annabell's grandparents everyone else can see that the marriage is not a good idea. Oh! But what to do, Annabell's family needs her to marry well in order to avoid poverty. Then Annabell meets Sebastian, the poor but handsome heir to his Uncle's title and fortune. Did I mention that the nasty Uncle hates Sebastian. Neither at first is aware if the others relationship to the nasty old Uncle, but that doesn't stop the attraction. Naturally, the young couple fall in love and have a happy ending.... but what happens along the way is interesting, funny and very entertaining. What a great summer read!

I don't love all of Julia Quinn's books, but this one was wonderful. Sometimes her characters feel a bit contrived and not well conceived. This book was GREAT. Loved the dialogue, the characters and the humor. Do pick this one up.

This book was a good read. Very funny. I think those words sum up a lot of what Julia Quinn does. She writes with a lot of humor incorporated in her books. There was a fun twist, an evil villain, a feisty heroine, and a charming hero. These words barely graze the surface of Quinn's latest work. I found Sebastian to be charming, funny, and quite kind. I think that there are moments where humor is overly worked in, but, in general, it is a fabulous read for fun.

I love Julia Quinn and this is one of my favorite books that she has written. Sebastien has humor and depth. The dialogue manages to be both touching and funny. I just reread this book after about two years and it was as lovely as I remembered it being.

All of the books in this series are good. Great Romance novels, funny, serious, emotional roll-a-coaster ride and interesting characters. You might prefer one better than the others or in a different order, but all of them were good reads.
