    Disappointing

    If I read one more book about a Highlander abducting a hot-tempered shrew, I honestly might cry.

    Great book!

    The author does a really good job with character development. This isn't a "I hate you, but immediately I'll love you and everything will be ok" type of book. There is attraction between the two main characters, but Jordan does a nice job of weaving a believable tale. It's clever, witty, and it's never gushy or annoying.

    Finally a fiesty woman.

    I love romance novels but get SO tired of all the meek women. Finally someone wrote a romance novel giving the woman some spunk. Great book. I have never read anything Nicole Jordan wrote that was not good. Highly recommend this aurthor not just this book.

    Pleasantly surprise

    I was a little hesitant about buying another highland book. I'm glad I bought this one. It was a good storyline witty, heart warming and fun to read. I enjoyed all the characters. I'm not one for bedroom scenes. It was nice not have to read one in every other chapter like some books. Even if you have never read a highland book try this one its just fun to read.

    Easy flow, everything you'd expect from a romance novel. Likeable characters. Enfuriatingly ridiculous characters and steamy encounters.

    Great Book!

    This book had a very strong female character but Nicole Jordan also wrote an equally strong hero and together the lead characters make a truly wonderful story. The heat level was medium. There was lots of steam, but not what I would call gratuitous sex. The ending and the epilogue were not rushed and felt very satisfying. I cant wait to read more from this author.

    I agree, great book

    I also stayed up late to finish... made me late for work this morning. I have been waiting for Jordan's early books to be reprinted and I was absolutely not disappointed! I cannot wait to read the others.

    Loved it!

    Lots of sparks with the perfect balance of romance, adventure, and emotion. Katrine and Raith are strong characters that seem almost real. Kudos, Ms. Jordan, for another great read.

    Worth the money

    I liked this book. It was lengthy at times, and I found myself skipping over bits, but it was still good. Worth the money, with a good plot, good and well developed characters, and steamy enough to make you sigh. I have read other works from this author, and I will continue to do so.

    Get through the cheesey, slow start to this book, and . . .

    you will like what you read!

    The characters were nicely complex and yet realistic at the same time. The plot had depth and went beyond the "shrew captured by a Highlander" plot.
