It is difficult to review his albums because they only compare to each other. Tenku is a brilliantly lyrical yet entirely instrumental CD. Kitaro speaks volumes with his synthesizers. These romantic interludes are full of gentle melodies and lush synth washes. The atmospheres are vibrant and bold. They are connected by wispy drones. There are no dark overtones or edges; this is upbeat, pastoral ...

The Most Awesome CD I Have Ever Heard - Beautiful Relaxation!

This is the most awesome CD I have ever heard and I have hundreds of CD's to compare with. This CD is so beautiful because it provides you with relaxation and the music always tells a story if one has such an imagination. This CD is great if you have to drive in heavy city traffic frequently as it calms your mind and gives you a sense of relaxation from external frustrations such as rude drivers. I can honestly say that I have played this CD at least 3,000 times over the last 12 years. This is a MUST HAVE in anyone's collection!

If you buy this CD, you must also buy the Kitaro albumn "Kojiki".
It is just as awesome and it takes you on a journey around the world.
I take these two CD's with me as my sole entertainment when I have to travel around the world frequently, especially when some of the flights are 12-15 hours at a time.

Kitaro is undoubtedly one of the most unsung heroes of the modern world in music composers.
