I purchased this book shortly after we had a very beloved cat euthanized. It is a very loving story, sensitively handled about death and the on-going circle of life. It helps young children get a grasp on the finality of death and the importance of riutals and family support.

I think this is a wonderful book. I have a 4 year old, who's Dr. passed away. Since then she had been asking me questions about death. So I bought the book ( a coworker told me about it). It was great at explaining what I couldn't. I recommend this book for children of all ages!

I am a Hospice bereavement couselor for children. We use this book quite often to help children get a grasp on death.Children relate people death's through past experience with pet death's.

This book carefully portrays a child's feelings about the death of his cat. It is a wonderful book to help teach a child about the concept of death. I highly recommend it.
