Overview

Drune, scarred emotionally and physically by the death of his adoptive family, becomes a Federation Hunter in the hope of forgetting his past or dying in the process. He is following Tawse, a mining courier, who has two vials of deadly spores in his possession, stolen from Stanger (head of Pterron's ruling Council of Eight) who manufactured the spores in the hope of using them against the newly formed Alliance and gaining control.
Tawse has run with the vials and hopes to sell them to the highest bidder.
Stanger wants the vials back. General Torrace, head of security, wants the vials back so that he will not be implicated in the theft of the spores, which he orchestrated.
Drune knows nothing of the vials. He was hired by Torrace, surreptitiously, to retrieve Tawse and return him to 'justice'.
A simple retrieval, General Torrace thinks. But things do not always go according to plan.

Drune encounters a boy (who lives in the sewers) and three outsiders who have come to the city seeking revenge for the slaughter of women and children in their settlement.
Drune must protect the settlers from the crazed inhabitants, deal with the convicts responsible for the settlement slaughter, and return Tawse, the mining courier, to the general.
Simple. But Drune is not at his best ...

Meet the Author

I live in Suffolk, England, amid green fields, woodlands and pastures. There are always distractions. I have numerous pets that require my attention; birds that tap on the windows, demanding food; and a daughter - 10 going on 40 (you know what I mean) - who takes up the rest of my time. It's a wonder I write anything at all. When I'm not writing (or trying to) I dabble in photography - the scenery here (especially in autumn) is breath-taking. I also like reading and watching movies.I have always been a storyteller. Terminal Point is the first one to go on paper, so to speak. I hope you enjoy it.
