    5 Star Read

If you like twists and turns, and a roller coaster ride, Simon Wood has done it again. This book is great for mystery lovers, action loveres, and anyone who enjoys great characterization and a finely tuned novel. I recommend Simon Wood to everyone. His characters are crisp and real. The action makes you want to stay up late to finish reading because you don't have enough time during the day. After reading Terminated, I decided to get the book for my boss (but tell her not to read anything into our working relationship because of my book choice). Simon never disappoints, except in one area. I wish he had more books out, but he can remedy that by still writing.

    UnPutDownAble

    Murder! Madness! Mayhem! Psychological torture!
Terminated delivers all of the above and throws in some morals! His short stories and novels all have one thing in common. They are UnPutDownAble!!!

Ken Bruen, author of PRIEST made the comment about Simon ."He writes like a dark demented angel." When you finish Terminated, you will agree.

Gwen Farris got a promotion and a Psychopath as a bonus. Stephen Tarbell thought Gwen stole the promotion and he is going to do everything he can to make her suffer. His plans include taking everything from her.job, family and the ultimate sacrifice HER LIFE.

Gwen's status with the company changes directions from victim to liar. She stands up and fights back to protect her greatest assets.Family! When you finish the book, it leaves you with one question. How would I react to a Stephen Tarbell in my life?

    what a great book!

One of the things I appreciate the most about Simon Wood's books is his ability to create a story you can't put down. Terminated is no exception. Expect the plot to keep you on your toes, don't expect to stop thinking about it when you're done reading it. The bad guy is so well crafted that the entire time you are reading, you involuntarily keep one eye on the front door. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is up for a good thriller...you won't be disappointed.

    Suspenseful From Beginning To End

Both my husband and I read this book and couldn't put it down. It's a good book all the way through, including the ending. I hope all of Simon Woods' books are as good -- can't wait to read another one! I certainly do recommend this book!

    Terminated by Simon Wood

Gwen is a strong willed, sometimes bull-headed woman determined to keep her family safe and secure. She's never been one to run from her problems, not years ago when faced with a frightening and violent situation, and certainly not now when faced with a disgruntled co-worker. But she soon learns that playing by the rules isn't going to work, and it won't keep her alive. Simon Wood has surely created another reader favorite with his book, Terminated. I admit I was excited and eager to read this story, having already become a fan of his work after reading Paying the Piper, and I was not disappointed! Mr. Wood is able to grab the readers attention rather quickly, making these thrilling stories almost realistic. I found that while reading Terminated, I was continuously in the mind frame of "What would I do?" or "What if it were my family?", flipping through the pages with anticipation, unable to put this book down! I highly recommend giving Terminated a read! The suspense is incredibly intense and will keep your interest from beginning to end! Hazel O'Shea Written for the Juniper Grove blog
