    more from this reviewer

    I Also Recommend:

    Dancing Duel.

*Engaging. *Wonderfully detailed illustrations will capture young readers' eye and imagination. *A storyline that six to ten year-olds should be able to relate to. *How do you handle your father changing? *And why is he changing? *Assist young readers to explore their emotions and thoughts about their position within their family. Also, how do you handle feeling replaced or having a responsibility you enjoy "taken away"? *This novel is great for silent sustained reading material.

    Sweet story

It is an interesting story that makes you realize that its always not your mistakes that make you a bad person. Instead, when realized, they make you a better person, with a better heart, more respect and the power to understand a good person.

    Loved it!!!

We have all books in the series and I have to say I love them all... oh, yeah! So did the kids! Each one is about the cute and quirky group of little girls attending the Nutcracker School of Ballet. Each book tackles one girl's problems. In this one, Terrell has to deal with her father's new girlfriend and the fact that the girlfriend's niece is Terrell's enemy at ballet school! I love Miss Goldberg's witty, believable characters and the way each story has a little life lesson for kids on dealing with their problems or situations, overcoming fears and learning from their mistakes. I highly recommend the entire series and suggest you start with the first one, Plum Fantastic (pink cover). The age range shows at six, but I think you're good up to ten.
