By Terry Spear, author of Heart of the Wolf, a Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year, Destiny of the Wolf delivers action, adventure, suspense, and romance.
To Tempt the Wolf
Wildlife photographer Tessa Anderson must prove her brother innocent of murder charges. But when she discovers a gorgeous naked man barely alive on her beach, she's got a new world of troubles to deal with, not least of which is how he affects her with just a look, a touch, or a whispered word.
Hunter Greymore is a lupus garou, a grey werewolf. Hoping to keep a low profile at Tessa's cabin on the coast, he's drawn into her life-and into her bed. His animal instincts war with his human half, but in the end, the only thing he can do about this fascinating, adorable woman is to leave her forever -unless she becomes one of them.
From Terry Spear, author of a Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year award winner and a Night Owl Romance Reader Choice award winner, don't miss the suspense of her thrilling paranormal romance series.
I have all of Terry Spear's books. I have read them all a few times. If you want a romance packed full of twists and turns around every corner, this is it! Not only are the books great, but the author also takes the time to answer any questions or comments you have for her on her blog, facebook, or twitter pages. She has become my favorite author. Each of the books can be read as a stand alone, and many of the characters have parts in other books as well.

I've only read the first book so far, but the book is so slow. Lydia Dare's or Nicky Charles' books (N.C.'s are all free)are so much better.

I loved being able to get the first three book in a bundle. The stories are highly entertaining, especially if you're a werewolf fan. Spears does a good job keeping the book connected from one to the other, but also keeps it so you don't have to read the book in order. When I was reading then, I had a hard time putting them down. I kept wanting to know what's happening next.

I can read a 250-300 page book in about 4 hours. It took me 4 hours just to get through the first 100 pages becaise the beginning just dragged and couldn't hold my attention. Finally things started to happen and the book sped along.
The 2nd book was better, but again the writer forgets to include information in the beginning that would make the story smoother and cohesive.
The 3rd book was better again but it was like a soap story in that it felt like it took a week of events to provide dialogue meant for 1 day. The timeline needs better finesing.
Overall the story is good if you can get through the first book. It took me 2 days to get through the three books.
I will pick up book 4 and 5 with hopes that her style has improved.

Nice trilogy. You don't have to read one to figure out what's going on in the other but they are intertwined.
