At last some of the forgotten heroes of Northern Irelands recent troubles has come to light. Giving an unbiased but emotional history this book drops in on the lives of the men and women of Northern Ireland who volunteered their time and in many cases life to remain British. Dispelling the false myth that it was a sectarian force it highlights the brave catholics and protestants who fought bravely against both the IRA and socalled loyalists. Every Irish American should read this.
