This book is filled with interesting things! Mainly its uses revolve around the runes but it also talks about the types of tools used in the magick of the ancient heathens. It also possesses some brief history of humans and that of the gods and goddesses. It explains the workings of wyrd and the ancient heathen concept of time. It also briefly explains the different parts of the soul in the ancient heathen concept. It goes over not just some of the magickal creatures of our inherited past but also over the holy creatures such as the boar, bear, raven, wolf, wyrm, and a few others. This book seems to be mainly for traditionalists and hardcore re-constructionists. Although some of its methods can be quite restrictive; the information within is quite valuable to anyone studying and practicing heathenry/asatru.
