B&N is really bumming me out.

Here is yet another botched classical read that makes me hate Barnes and Noble all the more. Not only is it a mish-mash of random Latin, German, and English, the typos running rampant throughout the entire work causes another book to be unattainable through B&N. Thanks, you lazy jerks.

    Poor digital copy

Unfortunatly the lack of formatting and random patches of non-text characters make this ebook unusuable. Sadly B&N is full of these wastes of time.

It is however very much worth the effort to find a good copy of Grimm's work.

An excellent survey of Teutonic Mythology

This book is outstanding an written by a master in his craft, a man of the German people who understood them well and wrote for and about them which had the practical effect of securing his own heritage. Outstanding in every respect. I would highly recommend this book along with Volumes 2, 3 and 4 of the same series. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. A reference library for a lifetime.

    Not worth reading

What does Hindu, Greek, Persian, Chinese and Jewish have to do with Teutonic mythology? I'm very disappointed and pissed that i wasted my time reading this trying to make any sense out of what they where writing. I'm just glad this book didn't cost me any money. And the only reason is getting one star is because I have to give it a rating:
