Rusty Burson is the senior development officer for the 12th Man Foundation, Texas A&M's athletic fundraising organization, and the associate editor of 12th Man Magazine. He has covered Aggies athletics since 1992, the same year he met his wife, Vanessa, in the well known College Station watering hole, the Dixie Chicken. When not freelancing for a variety of college football and basketball magazines, Burson spends time with his wife and children, Payton and Kyleigh.
