With the publication of the Texas Almanac 2010-2011 a new chapter opens on this historic book: the Texas Almanac is now published by the Texas State Historical Association, itself a 112-year-old organization.

    A great source of Texana. Gives you an abundance of information about the great state of Texas, from state government, the arts and information about each county.

    Good Texas information source

    I found the Texas Almanac very informative. It provides detailed information by county including a map of the county.
