ONE NIGHT TOGETHER IN A TEXAS JAIL

It was quite an introduction, but before sunrise, Sheriff Brace Caulfield knew Sarah Murphy was a woman to match him in every way. The amazing woman was so determined to rescue her nephew from abuse that she'd put herself smack in the middle of danger. All that would protect her now was an instant wedding—to Brace!

A lucky star must have been shining in the wide Western sky the night Sarah Murphy tracked her no-account brother-in-law to Benning, Texas. There she met lawman Brace Caulfield, an imposing, arousing bear of a man who swore she'd be safe and happy-ever-after if she'd just say the words "I do"!

    Great Book!

Loved this book! I really liked that the sheriff would stand fast and care so much for a child when he knew what he was doing was not really legal. He also was so loving and cared so deeply that it makes you sigh. Enjoy...a great read!

If drivel. mediocrity, and repetition are your thing ---then this book is for you. The bad guys belong in the Stupid Criminals hall of fame. The deputy needs a raise because the sheriff is always going home early. The sheriff seems to have an unlimited supply of money---I think the town pays him to much or he is on the take. And Sarah goes from being one tough chick to a simpering mess. I've read two other Carolyn Davidson books. One was pretty good ---one not so good. So I was on the fence about her writing. After this I'm off her for life.
