    Stinker

Graphic and vulgar... good thing it was only 117 pages. I have read countless romances - this was not one of the better ones. If your thing is a quick, cheap thrill then this book is for you. I won't buy this author again.

    Love it!

I read a review before buying this book and I quote"if you are looking for a quick cheap thrill then this is for you" kinda prudish and bitter if you ask me made me even want to get it more. A great love story sweet with a lot of spice to it very well balanced with graphic sexual depiction, not vulgar. If interested do buy you won't regret it! Happy readings if you do.

This was a sweet, short western read that really gets the steam blowing! Anita Philmar took a short story and filled with heat and passion, a sweet plot line and characters that will steal your heart.

Catherine Turnberry has loved Trent McCall since she was 14 years old. Determined that he’s the only man for her, she saves herself. Her parents sent her off to Boston for 4 years in hopes of her changing her mind and marrying a good man. Back home on the ranch now, she has the deed to the ranch and a determined mind to marry Trent now that her pa and his have arranged it. Trouble is, he’s been on a long cattle drive and returning home to a party full of booze and girls.

Trent McCall wants a good woman to bed when he’s home from the ride. But, what his father has told him is enough to confuse him. He’s been told he’s going to marry the neighbor’s daughter, Catherine. A woman who he remembers as spindly and not beautiful. What he finds in his hunting cabin is no spindly young girl. It’s someone who wants to show him that one night of Texas passion is all he’ll ever need to know that the arranged marriage would be one worth both their benefits.

Wonderful writing, quick reading and filled with historical detail, this short story will take your breath away! Ms. Philmar has a wonderful talent and I am very anxious to go back and read more of her work! I definitely recommend this quick read to anyone who is looking for a passionate, spark flying historical romance story!
