Meet the Author


R. S. Gwynn is the author of the collection The Drive-In. He is Associate Professor of English at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

Jan Epton Seale is the author of two poetry volumes: Bonds and Sharing the House. She also writes plays, essays, and short stories. She lives in McAllen, Texas.

Naomi Shihab Nye is the author of Different Ways to Pray, Hugging the Jukebox, and Yellow Glove. She lives in San Antonio, Texas.

William Virgil Davis won the Yale Series of Younger Poets competition in 1980. He is writer-in-residence at Baylor University, Waco, Texas.
