The second book in the McCutcheon series. Loved this book. Lily and John were perfect hero and heroine. Perfect for each other. Wow. All the sub plots kept this story moving. Loved the extended family along with Aunt Harriet.  Action from beginning to end. One of the best western romances I have read.

Once I find a good author, I keep on buying their books. This is another one high on my list! Great story teller and brings in a colorful history of the wild west. I recommend this book to all that enjoy western romance.

I love this series. The plot is good and the hero was vivid. I just think the book was about 75 pages to long. The end would have been better if not draw out so long. Sometimes yanking the bandaid is better.

Reminds me of an oldfashioned western romance.

Nice but a little too long. It was a little over 700 pages. It needed some editing. The story could have been told in half the time. A lot of blather thrown in. But still a sweet story.
