This book studies the textual criticism of the hadith, the most important collection of texts in Islam after the Quran. In the first section, the author provides a history of textual critique from the beginning of Islam and argues for the existence of the practice from the early days of their collection and inscription. The second section examines the prophet's knowledge about the future and provides examples from existing studies on the verses and tafsir books. In the third section, the author discusses apocalyptic concepts, especially in Bukhari's Sahih, a 9th-century collection of hadith, in terms of the principles of textual criticism.
