Audience: Written by expert authors, the book is intended for general small animal practitioners as well as students, interns, or residents.

This internationally acclaimed reference includes everything practitioners need to provide effective treatment to their patients. The 90 new chapters and more than 150 algorithms make diagnosis and proper treatment easier. The full text as well as numerous videos can be accessed online.
Assessment: This is a must-have reference! It is a very helpful update of the previous edition giving all keys to diagnose and treat diseases of small animals. Online access allows following links to PubMed abstracts for most references, viewing useful videos, and rapid search and regular updates. Moreover, the addition of color pictures and new algorithms make this edition very attractive.
