This is a funny, motivating, and inspiring book. It's a great read for short breaks and trips.

...but he's work ethic and state of mind has gotten him far (regardless of anyone's personal preference or dislike for him) and this book does a clever job of illustrating exactly how he has earned his success. More than anything, this short 52-paged quote book gives you insight behind Kanye's thoughts and actions and how he really operates. I received this quote book from Kanye's Glow In the Dark Tour (I only bought a ticket to see one of another performer in the lineup). And I must confess I wasn't completely convinced of Kanye's super-ego act but after reading this, my views on him have altered simply because the book humanized any questionable traits the media has placed on him so far.. But besides the subject of Kanye in relation to this product, this quote book could easily serve as a great motivation for anyone ambitious or lacking the inspiration or courage for taking on a huge challenge (such as getting into the music biz, being a public figure, or just having comfort and confidence in taking on YOUR life mission). If I was a teacher, I'd have students constructively critique and analyze this piece of work because it really does have that much intellectually-intriguing concepts about life and how to approach it. Purchasing this book can signify as taking the next step to challenging yourself..and just maybe, inspiring you to move in a better, stronger direction.

I am a very curious person. When I start a book no matter how bad it is I'll read it to the end just to find out the ending. But this book was the the hardest I ever had to work to stop myself from throwing it into the garbage. Which is pretty amazing considering that this book was only 52 pages. The only people I can imagine who would enjoy this book are extreme fans of Kanye. But just the fact that the would have to at least be smart enough to know how to read means even they will be intellectually insulted by this book.
