Thank You, God, for Loving Me by Max Lucado illustrated by Frank Endersby is another children prayer book that teaches children to give thanks in every way throughout their daily life. The illustrations had the season of autumn which reminded me of the coming of Thanksgiving holiday and setting the tones for preparing not just the family reunion, but Jesus is the reason for the season. Little Hermie the caterpillar prayed to God expressing how he was loved in every way. Every little details reminded Hermie about God's love, the big and small, the sleep and play, the day and night, the right and wrong and every way. The little book only has 10 pages in total and the sentences are so short that my daughters would memorize the whole book and put the words into their prayer! This is the success of the book on how easily catching the younger reader's attention. My kids loved the colorful pictures and this book is a perfect gift for preschoolers to elementary school age children! I highly recommend this book to all Christian families.

"Thank You, God, For Loving Me" by Max Lucado is a great, sweet little book for kids. I really enjoyed this little book as well as my daughter did. This is a great book of truth for young kids and it's just the right size for toddlers. My daughter is 4 and she still enjoys a great book like this and this is the kind of book I enjoy reading to her. The book has based on what every prayer should be for young kids and adults alike, "Thank You, God, For Loving Me". We all should say this daily. I highly recommend this book to anyone. I can't believe that I am saying this, but I think that I have fallen in love with a caterpillar. No, I am serious. I've just gotten the "Thank You, God, For Loving Me" book by Max Lucado, and that little bug has got to be the only insect that I would not squish. (I'm sorry, guys. But I really don't like most bugs!) I got the "Thank You, God, For Blessing Me" book by the same author right before this, and both are equally cute. With a sweet message packaged inside adorably illustrated pictures, "Thank You, God, for Loving Me" is a guaranteed hit for any little guy (or girl) in your life. It talks about how God loves us when we're asleep or when we're awake. He's there when we're playing, or when we're afraid, when we're sad, or when we need guidance. Little Hermie the wormie has wriggled his way into my affections, as I'm sure he'll do the same to anyone who read this book. I give it four out of five stars.

This is the second children's book by Max Lucado that I have read in recent weeks. Hermie is back in this book, Thank You, God, for Loving Me. This board book will teach young children about all of the ways that God loves them.
The book is nice...I always appreciate board books for reading to young children. And Hermie is as cute as ever.
This book is a good one to add to the nightly repertoire. The message is reassuring to young children, and is an important one for them to learn.
With the holiday season approaching, this could be a good gift for the young child in your life.

We Love Max Lucado and "Thank you, God, for Loving Me" is another great addition to our collection! Little Hermie prays and through it, it gives a model to children to show them how to pray and thank God for what He has given us! This little cardboard bookfocuses on God's blessings for us, which I feel are the basics a small child would focus on as well: food, shelter, friends and family etc. This is a simple story and the illustrations are bright and colorful. This is a great little story to read before bed book or even to use as a prompt to a prayer a child can say on their own. My faily found this to be a sweet and delightful little book.

Max Lucado is back again with another adorable book for little ones in the form of a board book. This time its Little Hermie in "Thank You, God, For Loving Me", a wonderful way for little ones to learn about God's love for them in a format of a short, easy to read book with cute illustrations.
In this book, Little Hermie and his baby bug garden friends teach little ones about God's love for them. I've read these books with my little nephews and nieces and it's been a hit with them.
