I'm telling you that Toby Keith is one big dog daddy with his latest album "That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy", I simply enjoyed the song "God Love Her". Even though I make a perfect intuition with his singing career, and I also laugh out loud when he also does the acting career.

The reason that this album has become so successful and is Platinum material is not only because of Toby's suave baritone voice, but also because he has one of Nashvilles's hottest songwriters who contributed about eight songs on this album. His name is Bobby Pinson. Bobby grew up in the Panhandle of Texas and he writes what he feels and what he has been through. He's got such a great passion for music and downhome country livin'. He has a couple of albums of his own out and his sound is comparable to Steve Earle. He is truly sought after for his great and talented writing and singing abilities.<BR/><BR/> Tony Doyle

I absolutely love this CD!!! The first time I listened to it, I wasn't sure if I really liked the songs but after listening to the CD several times, I have now decided that it is by far the best Toby Keith CD yet! What makes it better than TK's other CDs is that instead of 2-4 great songs per album, all of the songs on That Don't Make Me a Bad Guy are awesome. My favorite songs are Creole Woman, God Love Her, The Time That It Would Take and Lost You Anyway. I Got it For You Girl is a very sexy song and Missing Me Some You is very bluesy. Of course this CD also has Toby's latest hit She Never Cried in Front of Me. I just can't get enough of this CD. It has been playing on my truck's CD player ever since it was released. <BR/><BR/>Before judging the CD after your first time listening to it, give it a try and really listen to the songs and the lyrics several times. I know you will LOVE IT!

If 2007's Big Dog Daddy seemed like a back-to-basics move after a few years of wandering, its 2008 successor, That Don't Make Me a Bad Guy, seems downright primitive in comparison. Hard and heavy with guitars, That Don't Make Me a Bad Guy is a roadhouse album at its core with blues playing a larger role than honky tonk here. Keith cranks those three chords hard on the tough "Creole Woman," runs through a talking blues on the slyly funny "Time That It Would Take," and lets it smolder on his lonesome soldier anthem "Missing Me Some You," subtly weaving some deep Southern soul horns into the chorus.
