About the Author

Randell Jones is the publisher and editor of the Personal Story Publishing Project, producing the award-winning collections, "Bearing Up" and "Exploring." These stories appear in his weekly podcast, "6-minutes Stories." He is also the author of "In the Footsteps of Daniel Boone" and "Before They Were Heroes at King's Mountain," each of which received awards. His other books include "From Time to Time in North Carolina" and "A Guide to the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail." He has served since 2007 as an invited member of the Road Scholar Speakers Bureau of the North Carolina Humanities Council. He writes, speaks, and publishes from Winston-Salem, NC as Daniel Boone Footsteps.
