Overview

When the fabric of space-time splits, Rover Pilot Nureen is sucked through a vortex to the Borealis universe. Lost and alone, she accepts the hospitality of the TPP to repair her ship.

Five years ago, Creed also came through to the Borealis. He has convinced the TPP he is a harmless scientist, not military. Nureens ship is his ticket home -- IF the fascinating stranger isnt a clever ploy to trick him into handing over military information.

Nureen cant believe he is Commander Creed -- her grandfathers best friend, who vanished fifty years ago, and her childhood hero. But this lookalike is her only way back to her ship and through the vortex before it closes.

As time runs out for these unwilling partners, sticking together takes on a whole new meaning.

Michelle has been a book addict since picking up 'The Cat in the Hat'.

She started writing her own stories in junior high, when TV shows didn't turn out like she thought they should. Her first rejection letter came the summer after high school graduation, her first published story was in connection with fan fiction, and her first sale was in the Writers of the Future anthology.

With a BA in theater/English and an MA in Communications, focused on film and writing, she has worked for a local newspaper, then in advertising, and now works as a freelance editor. She is published in multiple sub-genres of romance, as well as SF and fantasy. Awards include being a finalist in the Dreamrealms and EPPIE competitions, with EPPIE wins in 2006 and 2010.
