A friend of mine told me about this book and I am so thankful. The author spells it out clearly for moms. I had so many ah-ha moments while reading this book. He is very careful to not stereo-type all boys but I have to say, he has helped me so much with understanding my son. I had stopped reading the book for a few days and my son and I were having a disagreement. My son told me, 'Mom, you need to start reading that book again.' Obviously, he noticed a change in my interaction with him. I have been less quick to make him settle down and quiet down, if he is not disturbing or hurting anyone. I have learned to let him have a little more freedom to express his boyhood into manhood.

Whether you are a single parent or there is a man around and you are curious on how to raise a good man, this book is beneficial for you. Nothing in it will cause you to have an "ah ha" moment, but there are some great tips that can be implemented when raising your boy child.
