That's Not My Penguin

by Fiona Watt, Rachel Wells

Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
The furry creature on the cover does look like a penguin. The book is set up to feature various body parts and to include characteristics as well as tactile reinforcement. To illustrate—"That is not my penguin. It's ears are too silky." The textures are more varied than in the companion book, That's Not My Reindeer, so it is easier to feel the difference between the fuzzy tummy, rubbery feet, and shiny beak of the penguin's body. Kids with sharp eyes will notice that the mouse's attire changes with each turn of the page. Part of the "Usborne touch-feely books" series. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
