More About This Book

Overview

NEW BOOK TEACHES ALL HOW TO RECEIVE DIVINE GUIDANCE.
That's the Spirit... how opening my Channel can help open yours

In an important new book, first-time author Jennifer Scott relates her personal story of childhood pain that led to her remarkable ability to Channel - opening to the flow of Divine Guidance.

When she first realized she had a Channel, Ms. Scott was on the brink of darkness. She was losing her home, had no money, no important love relationship and her career in music was over. Never before had she felt such desperation and despair.

What happened next was extraordinary. Even though she was not religious and had no relationship with God, she begged for God's help and surrendered her will to "whatever God was." Something within her shifted and she came alive - as if a curtain had been lifted off the person she thought she was.

After 35 years of developing this connection, Ms. Scott now understands that this surrender to something greater than self is what awakened her Spirit.

Available in paperback and on Amazon's Kindle and Barnes & Noble's Nook, 'That's the Spirit... how opening my Channel can help open yours" is not only an eye-and-heart-opening book, it is extremely important for all who need a loving and supportive connection to Spirit during these troubled times.

    Highly Recommended

"That's the Spirit" narrates the spiritual journey of a religiously sensitive woman, told in the metaphor and language of New Age spirituality rather than in that of any orthodox religious tradition. She first describes her childhood and young womanhood and the growing despair that brought her to her spiritual awakening. She then describes her subsequent struggles for spiritual growth. Her sense of "divine support" is manifested in her through what she calls her "Guides," through a process that she calls "channeling."

She then describes ways in which she accesses these Guides. Although her language is New Age, many of the techniques she uses, such as prayer, meditation, and being open to nature, will be familiar to spiritual seekers from all faiths, or no faith. The practices and techniques she recommends are clearly described and would be helpful to anyone seeking spiritual growth or comfort.

The book concludes with stories of people whom she has helped to access their own Guides and in so doing improve their lives.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who feels they would like to have more spiritual depth in their lives. The author has engaged in a long and arduous spiritual quest, and her experiences are informative and inspirational.
