My kids (ages 3 and 5) love this book. They really enjoy everything about the book. The story is excellent and makes everyone appreciate the little things in life.

The meaning is nice but the prose is a bit awkward- it made me think of Stewart Smalley's "Daily Affirmations" on Saturday Night Live.

This is a cute little story of a little bear and the things he likes to do with his dad and his mom. It's a bit "wordy" for trying to keep a toddler's attention, but the lesson inside the story is worth continuing on for. The illustrations are vibrant and beautiful and having a longer story like this oneas in the form of a board book is certainly a plus. I think this is a great addition to any children's library and would probably best be suited for ages 4-8.

As more of my friends enter the world of grandparenthood, I like to acknowledge the passage with a keepsake, so I keep copies of this book and Good Night, Sleep Tight on hand to give as a gift to those new grandparents. I've test driven them on my own grandchildren and know they are always a hit.
